Write On! New journal seeks papers on gender

A brand-new law review has hit the scene: the International Journal of Transitional Justice. Board members and advisors including many of our colleagues; co-editors-in-chief are Hugo van der Merwe, Transitional Justice Programme Manager, Centre for the Study of Violence and Reconciliation, South Africa, and Harvey M. Weinstein, Senior Research Fellow and Clinical Professor at the Human Rights Center at the University of California, Berkeley.
The journal's dedicating an early issue, to be published in November, to the subject of "Gender and Transitional Justice." Navanethem Pillay, a Judge on the International Criminal Court and formerly Presiding Judge of the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda, will co-edit. The journal's put out a call for papers; submissions are due June 15, 2007. Submit here.
