Illegal Injection?

Le Monde reports that following the Supreme Court's decision to rule this term on lethal injection, Tennessee, Alabama, Oklahoma and even Texas have joined California and 12 other states in imposing a moratorium on executions until the Court hands down its decision. While abolitionists stress the decision won't spell the end of the death penalty but merely provide guidelines to humane lethal injection, one can't help noticing that executions are down by 1/3 since 2000, primarily due to DNA tests proving innocent 208 condemned persons over the last 10 years.
