On September 10

On this day in ...
... 2010, diplomats from 77 states concluded a 10-day conference in Beijing, China, by adopting a Convention on the Suppression of Unlawful Acts Relating to International Civil Aviation and a Protocol Supplementary to that convention. (photo credit) The 2 instruments, available here (and the subject of an ASIL Insight here), were negotiated under the auspices of the International Civil Aviation Organization, a 6-decades-old intergovernmental entity based in Montreal, Canada (prior post).

(Prior September 10 posts are here, here, here, and here.)
