On November 3

On this day in ...
... 1906 (105 years ago today), an International Radiotelegraph Convention and 2 supplementary pacts were signed in Berlin, Germany. Together they assigned administrative tasks to the International Bureau of Telegraph Administration, established stations and charges for telegram, and gave priority to the SOS distress signal of dot-dot-dot-dash-dash-dash-dot-dot-dot.
