Meg Kinnear (below right), Secretary-General of ICSID, the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes at the World Bank, will be the featured speaker at an upcoming gathering of the American Society of International Law International Courts and Tribunals Interest Group.
The session, entitled Leading Figures in International Dispute Resolution Series: A Conversation with Meg Kinnear, will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, January 17, 2012, at Tillar House, the ASIL headquarters at 2223 Massachusetts Avenue, N.W., Washington, D.C. A reception will follow the program.
The interest group, which goes by its initials, ICTIG, aims to monitor and provide information and commentary on the work of all international courts and tribunals, as well as hybrid and international tribunals. It's co-chaired by Brooks W. Daly, Deputy Secretary-General and Principal Legal Counsel at the Hague-based Permanent Court of Arbitration, and Dr. Chiara Giorgetti, an associate in the Washington office of White & Case.
