The British Institute of International and Comparative Law (BIICL) is hosting its Annual Conference this year, combined for the first time with the Annual Grotius Lecture and Dinner, on 25 October 2012, at BMA House, Tavistock Square, London, WC1H 9JP.
The conference will be a half-day event, beginning in the afternoon, to consider the impact of the Arab Spring through three panels, addressing the Rule of Law, Public International Law ,and International Investment Law. (IntLawGrrls' posts on the Arab Spring here.)
Following the Conference, the Grotius Lecture will be given by Professor M. Cherif Bassiouni, President Emeritus, International Human Rights Law Institute, De Paul University, author and leading authority on International Criminal Law. The Grotius Dinner will complete the day with an opportunity to continue the discussion over dinner.
